TechBridge participated in the “First Jordan Cybersecurity Summit,” honored by the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince. The summit was organized by the National Cyber Security Center in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Companies Association (INTAJ).

The summit witnessed the attendance of representatives from government institutions, specialized cybersecurity companies from various sectors and countries, as well as financial and banking entities. The summit highlighted cybersecurity policies, strategies, and the experiences of countries in the field of cybersecurity and digital safety. It also addressed international issues related to cybersecurity risks and threats, along with mechanisms for collaboration to confront and combat their spread.

Eng. Bassam Al-Muharib, the head of the National Cyber Security Center, emphasized that the summit took place against the backdrop of increasing cybersecurity risks and their growing impact on financial, social, and political levels. He pointed out that holding the summit in Amman enhances Jordan’s role as a leading regional center in the field of cybersecurity, equipped with the necessary capabilities. He highlighted that the summit provides a space for regional and international dialogue and collaboration.

On his part, Eid Al-Suwaidi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of INTAJ, explained that about 450 participants engaged in 23 discussion sessions on topics such as cloud security, data protection, and the impact of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things on cybersecurity.
